She stars in the film — which she also produced — as the title character, who takes part in a credit card scam in hopes of getting out from massive debts weighing her down.

The film also stars Gina Gershon, Theo Rossi, Bernardo Badillo, Jonathan Avigdori, Kim Yarbrough, Wesley Hahn, and Megalyn Echikunwoke.
Emily The Criminal will enter limited release in theaters starting on August 12.
